Hi everyone. I just wanted to take a few minutes to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving Day. For those of you who were up all night cooking and putting the last finishing touches on the Thanksgiving and Christmas decor for your family members and guests, I feel both your joy and pain.
I was up all night doing grocery shopping at Kroger and Wal-Mart. After arriving back at my house, the kitchen was begging for a thorough cleaning so I would have a blank slate to do my cooking on. How many of you have ever cooked on a blank slate? My Thanksgiving cooking adventure begins at about 9:00 a.m. EST. While I am doing that, my family members will be glued to the TV and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (a.k.a. The New York City Christmas Parade).
Finally, please accept my deep thanks to all of you wonderful people who come to the Flee from Christian Fundamentalism blog to read my various writings about Fundieland, its bizarre inhabitants, and its strange subculture. God bless all of you on this day and forevermore.
