The last federal government shutdown a few weeks ago produced a lot of fear and human suffering among the people it most affected? It was the longest shutdown in American history. President Donald J. Trump (a.k.a. The Anointed One of the Lord) showed no heart-felt, Jesus-like love; grace; mercy; or compassion with the last shutdown.
Will it be any different this time? Will old Ebenezer S. Trump do it again? I am not going to make any predictions because this stuff is just plain crazy. When Trump agrees with both houses of the U.S. Congress on a plan to keep the government open, he then changes his mind suddenly in the few last hours before a vote on the agreed to bill. Chaos reigns. Then the government shuts down.
Do you kind and loving folks have any thoughts on what will happen this next time? Zero-hour is only four days from now—just four short days. Comments are open if you would like to say anything.
