Happy Cinco de Mayo

Just in case you may not have noticed, today is Cinco de Mayo. In just a few moments, I shall be kindly asking my family members if they would like to go out with me to a local Mexican restaurant to celebrate this holiday. The United States has a rich Hispanic heritage and Hispanic Roman Catholic heritage that goes back in time close to 500 years. This was long before the Pilgrims showed up at Plymouth rock in 1620.

My small town Down South has numerous Hispanic inhabitants (probably both legal citizens and illegal immigrants). We love and appreciate all Hispanic members of our community—who we regularly see out working, living, and loving hard—as if unto the Lord. God bless them all—and God bless you dear readers.  Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!

Oh, it hurts my brain so, chili relleno…
