Here at the Flee from Christian Fundamentalism blog, we know high-quality, reliable, and unbiased information and statistics about the true current status of the 2016 federal elections are hard to find. FOX News is usually biased toward the Republicans. Other networks such as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC are often accused of being biased liberal media venues that support Democrats. Then there is that horrifying and massive morass of Internet political websites where biases are often hidden, and after reading 10 or 20 articles on them, one is not quite sure what to think is really happening with the current elections. Independent voters like me are often confused and a bit uncertain about the information that comes our way.
Fear not!!! In our opinion, the most reliable information and statistics about the current election and its status on any given day are prepared and made available to the general public by statistical genius Nate Silver and his FiveThirtyEight organization. Given that about 8 percent of the electorate is still undecided on this eve of the first big debate for the 2016 Presidential election, we thought our readers might like to see where the election really stands right now—and we do mean really stands.
